Kaadambini began quietly — with Kanta Khemani's love for dressing her own brothers. That love for design soon grew into something bigger in 1995: Hyderabad's very first menswear designer label. Over the decades, that same spirit has carried through. Families have trusted us with designing trousseau for their biggest occasions. The most heart warming occasions are the ones where we dressed clients for their wedding, then their children for important ceremonies many years later, and even their weddings 25-30 years later. It's this quiet thread of trust, passed down through generations, that continues to define who we are – driven by tradition, fuelled by our clients’ love for our work.

At the heart of it all is Kanta Khemani — the visionary behind Kaadambini. Every collection carries her eye for detail and her quiet insistence on getting the craftsmanship and finishing just right. Her ideas take shape through a team of 60 skilled karigars, handpicked and trained by her, who bring each design to life with the same care she began with in 1995.

Today, that legacy continues to grow. Kanta's daughter-in-law Varsha and her son Harsh, have joined her at Label Kaadambini — bringing fresh energy and new ideas, while staying true to everything Kaadambini has always stood for.

Over the years, some of India's most recognized names have trusted Kaadambini for their own celebrations — such as actors Jr. NTR, Rana Daggubati, Venkatesh and cricketers VVS Laxman and Herschelle Gibbs, among others.
